Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren.
Jacob is interpreted ‘supplanter,’ and it is said of Christ, Thou hast cast down beneath Me them that rose up against Me. (Ps. 18:43.)
