Many Christians today find it especially difficult to remain faithful to their beliefs. Our era often speaks of progress, human rights, and equality—good things in themselves. Yet these values are often understood apart from Christ. As a result, the world puts feelings and subjective opinions first, while the truth of Christ fades into the background.
But the Gospel reminds us: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6). The truth of Christ endures, even if the world rejects it or tries to replace it with shifting moods. True love is not just a feeling, but faithfulness, devotion, and willingness to make sacrifices.
Therefore: God’s truth does not change according to the standards of the world. We are called to hold fast to Christ—and it is he himself who strengthens us when we remain steadfast in his truth.
