During Mass, a priest accidentally knocked over the chalice containing the precious Blood of Christ. It spilled onto the corporal and left the image of the crucified Christ, surrounded by eleven thorn-crowned heads. The holy cloth is still venerated today in the Basilica of St. George and attracts countless pilgrims every year, who report healings and conversions.
