During Mass, a priest doubted the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. At the moment of the elevation of the chalice, the Christ from the cross above the tabernacle became alive, took the chalice from the priest’s hands, and offered it to the faithful for adoration. The cross is still venerated by pilgrims in Regensburg to this day.
