During Mass in the Church of Sankt Georgenberg, the celebrating priest was overcome by doubts about the real presence of Christ in the consecrated wine. At that very moment, the contents of the chalice transformed into bubbling blood—before the eyes of monks, pilgrims, and the abbot. The relic of this blood has remained fresh to this day and is venerated in the monastery.
