During the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, instead of the host, the figure of a young man with a radiant face and a white tunic appeared in the monstrance. The apparition lasted for more than a quarter of an hour and was witnessed by many faithful. The bishop confirmed the miracle and permitted public veneration.
